The BEST way to look after your skin (and hair) during peri-menopause and menopause with Dr Shyamalar Gunatheesan

Other things happen in Peri-menopause beyond the mood swings and sleepless nights, the changing hormones means other changes from dry skin to sagging jowls to vaginal atrophy.

Dr Google will tell you that you can go the "natural" way to help resolve this issues or you can go the "big pharma" way and take drugs and/or go under the knife.

Apparently, that’s not true. You can do that if you want to but medical dermatology has come a long way and you can, in actual fact, go and get your age spots removed in one session. You can also get saggy jowls sorted out, not with surgery, nor with a pretty expensive 6-9 month long cryogenic treatment program at the local beauty salon, but in one session non-invasive session with a medical dermatologist.

For many years now, I’ve thought of dermatologists as doctors who give you creams for skin conditions. Apparently, that’s not true. Join me and Dr Shammi Theesan of ODE Dermatology to find out what we can actually do to help our skin (and hair and nails!) as it ages without resorting to surgery, creams or prolonged treatments at the salon.
