Episode 87: Doing Your Best in Business

How To Go To Bed Feeling Like You've Done The Best You Can with Terri Vincent

When life throws you a curveball, it tends not to stop at one; you tend to get a whole bag of curveballs coming at you at once.

How do you deal with that? How do you stop yourself, breathe and remind yourself who you are and what’s important to you? I hadn’t intended to ask Terri Vincent those questions, but that was where we ended up (me, go off topic with a guest? When has that ever happened before?)

One of the truly best things about getting older is you begin to stop caring what other people think. Take Terri, for example. When she started out business coaching, there were rules about how a Business Coach should look, how they should dress, where they should work, how they should run their seminars. Terri tried fitting in for a few years and then decided to do things her own way.

And business boomed.

A few years later, she was a proven global facilitator at iLAB, a 7 or 15-day Entrepreneurial Accelerator program where she worked with entrepreneurs to do business differently.

Terri Vincent - Business Coaching

Instead of working in their businesses, she teaches them how to work on their business, but in a totally different way, teaching them how to find their flow, discover their purpose, design their lives, and create global enterprises.

And they do this not in some grey-walled corporate seminar room but in Bali.

What I haven’t mentioned, because I didn’t want it to be the main headline, is that among the curveballs that Terri has been thrown is dealing with and coming to terms with having a daughter who’s an addict and all the fear, guilt, shame and worry that goes with that. With all that going on, how do you go to sleep at night and still feel that you’ve done okay?

Listen to the podcast and find out how this extraordinary woman purposefully creates her life. And why she does it.
