(Part two) How to be in a Healthy, Loving Relationship, with Dr Thomas Jordan

How we can all heal a disappointing love life...

People are losing faith in marriage. Arguably, they are also losing faith in love. So what can we do about this?

Love is a prevailing factor in everyone’s life. Whether it be love in a friendship, love for your family or romantic love – there is no doubt that it is tremendously important.

Over our lifetime, we observe the relationships around us – our parents, relatives, and friends – as a result we tend to pick up patterns. Often, these patterns are harmful, unhealthy or/and toxic. Unfortunately, they become embedded in our subconscious mind and so we must make an effort to become aware.

Dr Thomas Jordan is a psychoanalyst, clinical psychologist and author. He has invaluable knowledge on the psychology of relationships. Dr Jordan imparts his insight in this fascinating (second-half) of our conversation.

And if you haven’t listened to the first part of this conversation, go and listen now. This is an amazingly in-depth conversation with Tom using examples from his own life to explain what he’s talking about.

""Love is like a seed. Once it hits healthy relationship, it proliferates, it begins to grow. So once you've identified it, you can interfere with what you don't want and look for what you want."
