So you think you’re always right? With AJ Grossman

I'll be the first to admit that I am definitely guilty of this at times... well, don't we all have the tendency to feel the need to be right. A desire to have that moment of superiority when we are "right".

But sometimes we need to just admit that we are wrong - for the sake of those around us.

Being “right” produces a dopamine hit that makes you feel good for a couple a seconds, thus why we want to be “right” so bad. However, its impact can be long-term, causing harm to relationships and families. So it is very important to take a step back and readjust your perspective.

Another thing is that we can sometimes forget that everyone is unique. We have the tendency to think that everyone is like us – everyone has had the same experiences, thinks the same etc. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

I focus my efforts on providing people with solutions to their problems that protect their interests and give them hope.

A.J. Grossman graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in business administration and at the top of his Florida law school class. He immediately went on to achieve his Master of Laws degree in Dispute Resolution from The Straus Institute at Pepperdine University Law School in California, which is the #1 ranked Dispute Resolution program in the country.

As the son of a Navy Officer and the founder of several businesses, he learned quickly about service to others. A.J.’s goal is to help people solve problems, plain and simple. Being in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time, for a person (or couple of people) in need, drives A.J. to continue growing his legal practice. He focuses his efforts on providing solutions that protect the interests of those who seek amicable resolutions in their lives.

“I help people like the listeners of this show solve problems. Why? Because I get something more valuable than a fee. I get daily affirmation that I am in the right place doing the right thing when a client shares how my work has transformed their life for the better.”
